Sehnsucht (noun): Origin: German. A wistful longing and yearning in the heart for adventure.
Each of the four words listed above could easily be used to describe me. I am deeply passionate about travel; there is no simpler way to say it. I love traveling, I love the glitz and glamor of it. I love that new places, people, experiences, food, and cultures energize and recharge me while making me a better person and expanding my world view. I feel a constant longing for my next adventure, often before I finish my current one. I always come home from each adventure with a renewed appreciation and a slightly wider perspective on life.
I don’t think R was fully prepared for this when he married me (oops! 😬) but he has been completely supportive and encouraging of my resfeber. Whether embarking on an adventure with R, a girls’ trip, family vacations, around-the-world trip to visit friends/family, or a solo adventure, there are plenty of memories and amazing travel experiences that I am so excited to share!

R and me, circa 2017. This was taken just before we embarked on our first real trip together … more on that adventure coming soon!
In addition to itineraries, recommendations, and photos to whet your travel tastebuds, I will share some tips and tricks I have learned, my suggestions for travel essentials, packing tips, and more.
